    hell yeah they are! the neon was down for a clutch i drove this beast up to RD ATL for formulaD and it was steady as hell at 70MPH for an 1.5 hour each way with no problems. those 4.3 VORTEC's are great motors.

    great pic Chad...guess I should join in with the 4.3 vortec club...I drove my 2001 Blazer down to Key West last weekend and back no problems...leaks a bit of oil but for as old as it is and as great as it drives with 67K miles I can't complain...I use it for my long drives including my last trip back to the ATL and back

    who knew a photo of a stock 1995 blazer could be so awesome right!!! i always wondered if i could manufacture a kick ass shot with that thing. its easy to make great shots with a GTR/supra/evo/corvette/ect but doing it with a stock car that you see 76584949043 times a day isnt easy...it was a challenge to myself to think of something
